"Perhaps A Courier is what you need but you are not quite sure of what we do or how we do it".
Our primary service is located in The Australian Capital Territory, however we also provide interstate and worldwide services.
For those of you in the know and those just wanting to learn a little bit more about this industry please read on. If you have a job, you can either make a booking online or by a phone call. Lets say one box needs to go from Canberra City to Belconnen post office.
Our office will check on all necessary details, including the service you need eg:
Daily: within four hours of booking Standard: within two hours of booking Urgent: within one hour of booking
Operations allocate the job to a driver and have it carried out to your specifications.
All our drivers are in constant phone/UHF contact with base so we can easily trace the transit of your goods and can even offer you a proof of delivery once the goods have reached their final destination.
That is our local work and as you can see we have quite a few services for you to choose from. Don't forget that it is not only the single box we can move around town.
Our fleet consists of several vehicles, including a 6 tonne tail lifter truck, so full pallet loads, house moves and sensitive office equipment is not a problem for our business.
We have on staff an experienced electronic equipment installer, so should you require your home PC or even an entire office moved to a new location, we can arrange that the correct technician do that move for you, and then reinstall your sensitive equipment.
Should you wish to send something interstate or overseas, there are several options available, again lets use one box as described in the first example.
One of our operators will deliver it there directly and guarantee that only A Couriers staff handles your goods. Another option would be to place it with us, and we arrange to have it delivered to your destination through our daily interstate service. If you need it there urgently we can co-ordinate it with our air freight service and we will ensure its delivery with the very next flight.
